Meanwhile, Colts running back Jonathan Taylor has been battling a high ankle sprain for the past few weeks. His backup, Trey Sermon, also has been dealing with a knee injury.

Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel said Friday that he was optimistic on Achane's availability. The second-year running back out of Texas A&M said after practice that he has final medical approval to play, having cleared concussion protocols.
Achane practiced fully on Wednesday and Thursday. Achane would join Raheem Mostert and Jaylen Wright in a loaded running back room.
Achane had to leave in the first quarter against the Patriots, but he had two weeks to clear the NFL's concussion protocol thanks to the Dolphins' bye week. He leads Miami with 56 carries for 183 yards and a touchdown, while adding 21 receptions (tied for second on the team) for 186 yards and another score.

Taylor was ruled out Friday. This will be the third straight game the All-Pro running back has missed. He is 16th in the NFL with 349 rushing yards entering today's games.
